Who Are Your Personal Development Progress Robbers?

Hopefully by now, you have already drafted out your first version of your personal development plan and are in the progress of carrying out your plan.

As you begin to make small, but essential progress in life, you will inevitably find that there are always certain barriers or entities getting in your way of attaining what you truly desire in life.

Even having said so, these barriers are not all that useless. To view them in a more positive way, they are actually great opportunities presented to you to.

However, as you begin to look carefully into your life, you will find out that those barriers which you encountered are usually created by you.

One major barrier which tends to stand in the way of you experiencing quantum leap is none other than your own limiting belief.

Most of us know that our frequent actions make up our habits. However, so what is it exactly that determines our actions? Well, the answer is none other than your thoughts, your beliefs and your value system.

And in addition to the above mentioned barriers, there are 3 more common “robbers” of our personal development progress.

  • Attitude
  • Motivation
  • Time

As adults, we all live by choices, not by chance.

That is to say, everything that happened in the past were actually consequences of our past choices which in turn determined our past actions or inactions.

It is very important to recognize the fact that we have to be responsible for our own lives. No one owns us a living except ourselves.

Therefore, no matter what the outcomes are in your life, you must always be held responsible for them.

And if you have yet to notice, every choice you make in life are in fact the best choices available to you had at that time of making that decision.

Therefore, if you are not achieving what you desire in life, it may be a good time to start evaluating your life and deciding for yourself who the robbers of your personal development goals are and how to get rid of them.

Attitude

Your attitude in life determines your altitude in life. Therefore, it is very important for you to align your attitude with your goals.

The truth is, it will be pretty difficult, if not impossible to achieve what you desire in life if your attitude and thoughts are constantly always going against your desires.

Learn to align your attitude with your goals and continuously seek help in improving your attitude, the quality of your thoughts and your belief system.

You may not necessary have all the tools to make yourself successful now. However, with the correct attitude in life, success is definitely not far away from your grasp. :)

Motivation

Motivation is nothing but your own personal reasons why you need to go for your dreams.

As mentioned earlier, nothing happens without an action. And in order for you to take concrete and consistent actions to making your dreams come true, you must first have solid reasons to do so.

Everyone has different motivation level for different things. Failing to find your own motivation for accomplishing your dreams is like passing a death sentence to your goals.

Of course, no one says that finding your motivation will be easy. However, the lack of it is definitely detrimental to your success.

Time

Time is money. In fact, to be more accurate, time is more than money.

Your ability to use time wisely will greatly affect the quality of the life you are currently living.

Successful people recognize the importance of time and never in their lives will they seek to exchange their time for money.

Learn to respect every moments in your life. For when you turn back, those past events can only stay in your memories.
